There is no template, cookie cutter model, or plug and play set ups with Dakota Sauna. We coordinate all the plumbing, concrete, electrical, ventilation, framing, vapor barrier, cedar finishing, heater, sauna control work... as designed by the client. 

We've traveled the world exploring the best of traditional saunas, hot lounges, steam rooms, and spa amenities. We've put years into product design, engineering, and aesthetics. Yes, we have engineers/scientists dedicated to sauna performance looking at everything from the thermal heat capacities in different woods to the variations in heat stratification. To tile not to tile? What wood to use? To seal not to seal? If so, what to use? Linseed, tung, teak, blended oils or purely synthetic? All these questions and more can be answered by our staff.
